In order for us to have your breakfast prepared we will ask you to choose from the following options the night before, then help yourself to fruit juice at the table in the morning.

Wilmar creamy Porridge with fresh berry garnish
Plain yoghurt and muesli or cornflakes – (plenty, with homemade sourdough breads & preserves, for a healthy breakfast.)
Full Scottish Cooked Breakfast
Fresh home laid eggs
90% Pork Sausages
Stornoway Black Pudding
Scrambled eggs with Achiltibue Smoked Salmon
Achiltibue Kipper (Whole Smoked Herring grilled with butter)
Kedgeree (Lightly spiced Achiltibue smoked haddock with rice, served with soft boiled egg and grilled tomato)
Home laid Soft boiled Egg with “Soldiers” (fingers of buttered toast for dipping) (“Double” or “lite” option)
Home laid Poached Egg Julia (Poached egg on buttered toast with Achiltibuie smoked salmon) (“Double” or “light” option)
All with Marcella’s Sourdough Breads (toasted if preferred), and home-made preserves.
We like to source good local produce, so our eggs are from our own hens (supplemented by our neighbour’s hens in the busy season), bread is all home made from organic flour; and good to digest, the preserves are all home-made though the marmalade oranges are from Seville.
Our fish is from Achiltibuie and our black pudding is from Stornoway.
For vegetarian or vegan guests we like to chat about mushroom omelettes, fruit compotes and thing to see what you would like.
